What is Google and how does it work?

Google started work in 1998 for the first time. Google works as search engine and it is the #1 search engine among all. Google has many other products as well such asBlogger, Youtube, Gmail, Feedburner, Picasa, Orkut, Google+, Adwords, Adsense etc. But still Google's main focus is to provide best search results to the users. Google has always been suggesting webmasters to provide relevant information and create a good user experience. There are many Good webmasters or even best, who have provided the great result as Google said. But also there are many cheaters, scammers and spammers; who have been trying to play with Google's algorithms. To avoid this and create a safe and sound environment, Google has made some strict policies and guidelines for webmasters. What is Google Panda & Penguin? 

Google has been changing its search algorithms most often to provide better results to the users. Many updates were added to Google search algorithms since its starting date. But almost one and half year ago, Google made a big change called "PANDA". It was the beggist change in Google's search algorithms. Google has been advising the webmasters to create quality content and great user experience. But finally Google released its historical update "PANDA" which affected 14% sites out of 100%. Panda affected those sites that were copying content from other sites and have low quality issues. Many popular players were also affected by Panda. All Google Search Algorithm Updates till 2012

After Panda, on 24 April, 2012 Google released another big change in its algorithms called "Penguin". Its first version was released in April, 2012 while so far 1.1 version has been released. This update will affect those sites who are unnaturally linking to other websites. Also, it will affect those sites who have no quality content. Those sites who are over-optimizing their content will also be targeted. SEO Keywords stuffing is another crime to catch by Penguin.
