Blogger New Edit HTML Interface in Urdu - Video Tutorial

This is a quick update about Blogger New improvements to Edit HTML page . The Edit HTML page has been completely changed by blogger developer team and now the older page has gone. The new page has many features such as editing the template, formatting the template, Jump to a particular Widget and many more. Line numbers are also available in the coding sectoin. Many of you may love this new interface while many might be in troubels due to the sudden changes. However, I really liked the features such as jumping to a widget directly and lining numbers. Also you can expand/minimize each widget's code and can edit/modify wherever you want. But the most important issues to be resoluved are; You can't now directly find the CSS codes of the template as well as the <data:post.body> XML tag. So having them in mind I've recorded a quick video tutorial which will clear your confustions. Let's start.

How to find CSS codes in Blogger New Edit HTML Page?

To find the CSS section of your template you'd need to find the <b:skin></b:skin> tags inside your template and just click the >> arrow next to the tags at left side or you may simply click the </b:skin> tag to expand the CSS codes. This is simple and easy but funny as well.

How to Find <data:post.body> tag in new HTML page?

Before we used to insert third party widgets or anything we'd like to show after the post titles or below the posts in Blogger, we always had to tick the (Expand Widget Templates) option and had to find the XML code <data:post.body>, so we could insert anything above <data:post.body> or below <data::post.body>, but now the problem is; you can not directly find that code in blogger new edit HTML internface.

For finding out the <data:post.body> tag, you'll need to use Jump Widget option, and click the "Blog1" to reach the codes of "Post Body" after reaching "Post Body" you'll need to click on "post" or "var='post'" line which is located under the "Blog Posts" widget.
